Senior Post Producer – freelance assignment

Wenneker Amsterdam – (August 2022 – November 2022)

Managing the commercial projects from brief to final delivery for Philips, Navico, Ikea and Schiphol in the post production stage accrossing CGI animation, editing offline & online, as well as assets creation for TVC and socials. Translating and managing the creative ideas from/to clients and artists, quality control all the deliveries to meet the high standard within the allowed budgets. Scouting the talents and suppliers to meet the post production needs. Meeting the deadlines, made it a team effort with all talents on board to deliver all projects in time meeting the high standard in consensus with stakeholders and team. 

PR Brand Producer

Submarine – Animation Amsterdam (January 2022 – June 2022)

Strategist and execute rebranding Submarine image towards the industry as an international production house to produce winning award Documentary, Film, TV series and Animation. Revamping the website, social media channels and internal communications across 4 divisions. 

Setting up Disney’s vendor studio requirements, team leading of Head Technology, Studio manager, System manager, IT assistants and Operations assistants, we designed and set up a secured studio network to meet The Walt Disney production requirements including physically and remotely working environment that protects the high sensitive content.

Establishing protocols and branding guidelines for the company to follow and moving forward.

Production Manager – Undone Season 2

Submarine – Animation Amsterdam (July 2020 – December 2021)

Scheduling & budgeting to produce 8 episodes of 22 min animated TV series for Prime Amazon.

Recruited and managed a team of 70 artists including supervisors and coordinators. Providing management support for the team to working in the studio and remotely.

Troubleshooting daily matters throughout the pipeline of the production – shoot & rotoscope materials, 2D & 3D animation, VFX to compositing.

Weekly reports on the episodic status to producers and clients. Analyst the report numbers to project and solution for any potential production hiccups. Foresee to adjust any production needs when it’s necessary to meet the deadlines and director expectations.

Client facing on schedule and production procedure. To ensure all stakeholders are on board of the process of the production and the budgets are being allocated preciously. To communicate with clients if there are any. Motivate the team to work as a whole during Covid period.

U-Studio – Oliver in-house agency at Unilever HQ Rotterdam (March 2018 – September 2019)

Developed and set up an integrated production capacity with a new network of production houses and freelancers to boost the business twice compared to the previous year. Became a reliable inhouse production partner with Unilever brands such as: Magnum, Lipton, Maille, Knorr, Hellmann’s, SUN, Wall and many more.

Expanding the production business to other U-Studios across Germany, UK, USA and local market including Switzerland, Poland, and France

Managing Director / Founder

Gezel Group Pte. Ltd. – Chillax Market  (August 2012 – April 2016)

From Concept to Opening its doors to the public in 8 weeks – Chillax Market – a 7,000 sqft prime retail store selling accessories, fashion, beauty and furnishings.

Building a business plan, pitching the concept to investors, raising over a million to invest into the Chillax market project.

Finding a suitable location for the concept, to cater for a mid/high end expat market. Overseeing and coordinating the store design including, renovation, props & fixture design to producing, sourcing lighting and other accessories for the store. Budget and schedule control, troubleshooting, and logistics management.

Negotiating terms with internal and external vendors, working with stakeholders to keep projects on track and within budget. Curating over 70 unique vendors from Ladies, Men, Children fashion & accessories from hats to shoes.

Grew the business to over a few millions in annual revenue, 25 staff, and 70 brands with thousands of products.

Production Manager

The Mill at BBH Singapore 

A branch of The Mill London in Singapore collaborating with BBH creative agency (January 2012 – August 2012)

Manage schedule and budgets to produce visual effect for TVC and Online/Offline projects – AXE, Chuppa Chops, Vasiline, Redbull.

Primary liaison between the agency and the client for all ongoing projects, ensuring briefings are delivered on schedule with quality.

Manage operations and implementation of the line campaigns. Maintain the timeline and ensure delivery of key milestones including presentations, approval and production.

Working with the Mill-London to utilize resources for optimal schedule and cost performance of projects

Production Coordinator/Manager

Lucasfilm – Star Wars – The Clone Wars Season 3, 4 and 5 (June 2008 – January 2011)

Managing and coordinating 4 departments and designers (Checkpass, Visual Effect, Cloth stimulation and Lighting) to produce 64 episodes (around 22,400 shots) of 3 seasons.

Daily updates and liaison with the LA office and other internal departments to keep the project on time and budget.

Collaborating with the other departments in Singapore and LA in the pipeline to create the schedule for each season, updating and modifying the schedule as it goes along the production line.

Working with Creative Supervisors to allocate sequences/shots to team and artists/designers (around 40 artists/designers with 20 nationalities)

Running daily reviews and distributing feedback notes to artists/designers. Documenting and updating the system for record and continuing the cycle of the project.

Manage the supervisor’s and artist’s expectations to achieve the best result in the most efficiency and best optimal timeline.
